A Trip to Idaho

At the end of March I was really lucky to be able to take a trip to Idaho.  I drove out with my dad to pick up my mom who flew out a week earlier.  It was so great to visit family I hadn't seen in years and to spend time with my sweet grandparents.  It meant so much to be abel to see them and enjoy some time together, as short as the trip was.  

Also got to catch up with my cousins, uncles, and aunts and made me wish I lived closer to them all!  I have the best family :)

Lately...

I have been a babysitter. 

This has been my little muffin for past week and a half!  baby Oliver and I have been spending lots of quality time together, and I have been learning just how hard taking care of a baby is.  Lucky for me he is really calm and even tempered... and I am only watching him until his mom and dad are on their spring breaks next week :)  I don't know how full time parents do it!!! I have still been working nights @ Kenny's and I am just about pooped by the time 8 o'clock rolls around hah

He is just cute as can be!  

and tomorrow we will have some company... Jared starts Spring Break!

Studio peek

Just wanted to share a little studio peek, since I haven't in a while. It's looking a bit messy these days but that's a sign of getting lots accomplished, right? Hah I have been playing with a new slip trailing tool that has inspired some surface experiments on vases! I have been having fun branching out and practicing a new technique ��

I also created some miniature mr. And mrs. Owl pairs for keepsake wedding gifts! Very excited to see the finished glazed sets - they will be getting fired in the next couple of days, Yey!!

I Spy

A pretty girl that LOVES the snow!! We have been so lucky to finally get some moisture and snow! It was a wonderful weekend spent inside cuddling and lounging in our Jammies - the only thing that would have made it better would have been spending the day home from work and getting a legit snow day! No such luck, not even a delayed start. I am still hoping we get a blizzard, I think Beesley is too ;)

Girls basketball

I was super lucky last week and had a game night off!! (It may have been the only game I'll get to see this season other than tournament!) I drove out to Ault which is only 15 min. Away from Severance to see Jared coach his girls. It was really cute to see them take the game so seriously and watch them run their plays! They were much better than Highland and stayed ahead in points the whole game. I was really proud of the girls & Jared, he sure can keep his cool and was calm as a cucumber!!

Birthday shout out

This is a very belated birthday post dedicated to my awesome mom - she turned fifty last week and we got to celebrate her and the big 5-0 birthday! She didn't want anything more than the family together for a dinner out. We went to Maggianos!! So good, but little did she know she would be getting more than a family night out.... My dad organized a very sweet surprise for her and flew out my aunt Linda to spend a long weekend in CO. My mom Had no idea, and no one let the beans spill for over a month haha - pretty good for our family, usually someone lets it slip! It was so great to see my aunt Linda, and fun to spend 2 weekends in a row with my moma. She is the best mom and friend and still wildly young at heart, love you moma!

Nugz!

Last weekend was totally amazing, the highlight of it all was getting to see the nuggets vs. Oklahoma thunder on Sunday night! We won 8th row tickets and were so close to the nuggets locker room entrance!!! The game was close and full of excitement, couldn't have been a better win in overtime :) Such a fun night with my man and I went home with a sore throat and hands from all the cheering !
